Your Inner Child Is Surprised |
You see many things through the eyes of a child. Meaning, you're rarely cynical or jaded. You cherish all of the details in life. Easily fascinated, you enjoy experiencing new things. |

My inner child is Surprised, also.
Which sits nicely with my giant giant gargantuan wad of cynicism.
Paradoxical. But the two cohabit quite nicely.
Lucy, mine said Naughty which is perplexing.....is that permission? Love, Pamela!!!!!!
My inner child is unpredictable - both laughing and crying whenever it feels like it:) SS
sue--i, too, wondered about mixing in the cynical, but you're right it is paradoxical and the two do cohabit quite nicely :-) i always appreciate your perspective. thanks!
pamela--i say go for it!!!
ss--sounds kind of hormonal to me :-)
It looks like we "surprised" kids play well together :)
As for the "paradoxical" exhaling to take things in, Lucy ... it's a learned behavior. Whenever I sense myself "holding my breath" … I exhale to make room to fill myself up with wonder ... (methinks growing up in a family of Asthmatics has some "hangover" effects since I was the only healthy one who COULD breathe, but to "fit in" I didn't always ... if that makes any sense.)
How coincidental, that I’m using a “Blog-thing” (along with some “musings” on a variety of “things” at Sacred Ruminations today, though I’ve not posted it yet. I'm letting it "be" as a draft while I do other things for now because I posted there later than usual yesterday.
Hugs and blessings from MY surprised inner child to yours!
storyteller--
"I exhale to make room to fill myself up with wonder ". i love this...it makes so much sense..hugs and blessings right back at ya!
My inner child is tired, crabby and needs a time out. So watch out!
cp--hang in there. only 12 more days until christmas and less than 50 until hawaii, but who's counting :-) sounds like the perfect "time out" is awaiting you!
Me Too! Me Too! No surprise, eh?
