oh painter grand

...the dreams continue.

spinning round through fields of gold
the painter by my side
will the convertible transform
or simply take me for a ride?

chains for boundaries—protection or harm
who is the faceless man?
angel bear floats by my side
am i doing all i can?

orange-tipped rose hints of passion
does mud speak merge or mess?
will we grow like the mighty oak?
will we survive this test?

my forehead creases into question
the tree stands by my side
gold prevails and covers earth
while water tries not to hide

oh painter grand with pallet broad
where are we going now?
the golden hues command my life
few droplets here to wet my brow

the road marches on
the path is so varied
must i walk it alone
or shall i be carried?

'angel bear floats by my side' - lovely. This is a beautiful poem, and I love the 'dream collage' - I've just been studying it in close-up. I might try this way of meditating on dreams myself.

thanks, tess. this is a method i learned in christine's awakening the creative spirit course. i continue to be amazed at the power of collage especially as i let the photos 'find me' and do their magic. i usually start with something in my mind and that is not how it turns out at all. the poem then becomes another step in looking at the dream...so many possibilities!!

have fun and i look forward to seeing what you come up with!

I love where this journey into your dreams took you! Collaging my dreams is one of my favorite methods of opening up the meaning for myself and your poem is filled with possibilities. :-)

fantastic poem - i especialy relate to the final question. collaging dreams - interesting idea. i have had one dream in fairly recent history that just may need to be communicated in a such a way ...
